ThreeOhThree - Trek Now

ThreeOhThree is sort of a side project of mine where I make music using only my hardware synthesizers, drum machines, effects, sequencers, etc. Making music without relying on a computer is a rewarding experience. You get little accidents and sudden bursts of inspiration that you never usually get while sitting behind a computer desk.

To see in the new year I've been working away on a brand new release. As always there's a real gritty DIY feel to the album.
There are 5 brand new tracks along with a kind of remix/alt. version of the track Replay Tech (I used a computer for the remixing).

The album is available now on bandcamp.
You can listen to the album online for free or if you're feeling a little generous you can buy the album for a small donation of 99p

Update:
Some people have asked what synths and kit that I used while recording the ThreeOhThree album so I've put together a brief list. =]

  • Korg R3 (Used as Synth and Effects Processer)
  • Korg MicroKorg
  • Yamaha TX-81Z (Very close to the DX7)
  • FAT FB-383 (TB-303 Clone)
  • Roland MC-303 (Used mainly as a sequencer and a drum machine)
  • Boss DS-1
  • EHX nano Metal Muff
  • Korg Mini Kaoss Pad
  • DanElectro Farword/Reverse Delay
  • iPhone/iRig (Apps: Moog Filtatron, Amplitube Free, Technobox, Akai synthstation, NESynth & BeBot)
In sure I've probably missed some instruments off the and effects but that's basically my set up.

Happy New Year.
