The new SKatterbrain album "Plastic Reality" will be available tomorrow [April 1st] via my Bandcamp page. Don't worry its not an april fools joke. I look forward to hearing everyones comments and opinions.

SKatterBrain "Plasitc Reality"

Plastic Reality is the title of my new album which I will be releasing under the alias SKatterBrain very soon. The album has a dark undertone and takes high influence from psytrance, Goa, ambient and electronica music.
The album is now complete and ready to be released via Bandcamp. There is no set release date as of yet but be sure to check back in a day or to to find out the actual release date when you will be able to download the full album from my bandcamp profile.

Korg Microkorg samples [NNXT, WAV]

Multi samples taken from the Korg Microkorg Synthesiser.

This pack contains 7 multi sampled synthesiser patches and one pack of EFX taken from the Korg Microkorg synthesiser.
Each patch has been pre-loaded into reasons NNXT sampler and ready to play.
All sounds were made from scratch. [No factory presets are used]

The multi sample files [.WAV] are also included so that the sounds can be loaded up into a sampler your own choice.

Audiotool BETA [Sneak peak]

I receved an email last night from the good people at audiotool.
For those of you that dont know audiotool is a browser based music production platform that features emulations of the classic drum machines and bassline synth origanally made by roland. Along with the drum machines and bass line synthesiser, the audiotool also features emulations of guitar effects.
The email I receved contained a link to test the BETA version of audiotool 1.0 [codename: Firestarter].
The BETA version of the audio tool has lots of intresting new freatures, such as a timeline, piano roll, automation and a new synthesiser.

Pack Three: Casio CT-647

Pack Three contains 20 of the Preset drum loops sampled straight from the Casio CT-647 Home keyboard.

All the loops are in .REX format for use in Reason's Dr. Rex player. However all the loops should load up with no problem in your favorite sequencer or sampler.
Also included in the pack are one shot samples of the kick drum, snare drums, high hats and cymbals, so creating your own drum loops shouldn't be a problem.

Derek Howell Remix [OHMforce cohmpetition]/SKatterBrain

I have recently been working on a new project called SKatterBrain. I have Nearly completed the first SKatterBrain album although it's still untitled . The influence for SKatterbrain mostly came from listening to PsyTrance/Goa and other electronic dance genres.
Look out for more SkatterBrain updates soon.

As well as working on the SKatterBrain album I have recently entered the OHMforce Remix cohmpetition. The track up for remixing is Derek Howells New single "stride". The origanal track can be found here.
